Laptop Bag Saddle
how to condition leather bag without darkening its color?
I purchased a nice laptop bag from a garage sale, the color is “saddle” or brown, and I’d like it to stay that way once I apply some conditioner – which brings me to the question: is there a way to condition leather and not darken it? I tried this car leather cleaner/conditioner in a small spot and it leaves it darker, specially if I was to apply it twice (the bag has not been treated well in the past and is a little stiff)
I was looking to get mink oil or saddle soap to soften it – do any of those darken the leather?
